Bryce Soderberg . Lifehouse

I got to meet Bryce Soderberg of Lifehouse after their show in DC.
His reaction was great: "You want a picture of my shoes? But I have like space boots on!"

In it to end it. DC -- NYC

I'm leaving for NYC in the morning to participate in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.

I'll be walking 39 miles in memory of my mom, who passed away in January after battling breast cancer for 13 years.

Thank you to everyone who has showed their support and contributed to my donation page. I really appreciate it!

I am honored to be walking for my mom, and wearing shirts from Shirts For a Cure-- a big thanks to fellow rock photographer, Mark Beemer, for sending me the shirts!

Rubber Tracks

Very cool. Converse is building a recording studio in Brooklyn, NY. That would be pretty cool to see...

OK Go

So... aside from taking pictures of my own Chucks, I've been taking pictures of famous ones. For those who don't know, I am a concert photographer and I've been coming across lots of Converse at shows these days. Here's Damian Kulash's of OK Go.

Another pair...

I got another pair of FREE Chuck Taylors, this time they're PINK! I got this color because my younger, second cousins, Kaitlyn and Lexi both have pink, and I thought we could match!

I'll be receiving another free pair soon... I think I'm going to get pink ones =)
I'll post pics of my growing Converse family soon!

Branford, CT

So it's rather painful to me to even post this photo, but it's been a while since my last entry.
This image was taken on my cell phone on January 10, 2010. The 2 year anniversary of the Life of my Chucks project.
Where I'm lying here is on a bench in the cafeteria at the Connecticut Hospice center in Branford, CT. I spent just about 3 weeks sitting here.
My mother was admitted to Hospice on December 24, 2009. I spent every day there up until January 10. Merely 12 hours after this photo was taken, my mother ended her 13 year battle with breast cancer.
She loved the Life of My Chucks project and always told me my shoes would take me to incredible places.
I love her and miss her dearly.
